Amboy Avenue Animal Hospital has been at it's present location since 1977.In June of 2004 Deborah Murtha became our full time veterinarian.
The hospital sees mainly small companion animals such as dogs and cats, but we also treat exotic patients including birds, and small mammals such as chinchilla, hamsters and rabbits. Please feel free to call us with any questions you may have regarding your own pet.
Appointments
When bringing your pet in for an appointment remember that he/she may be a little uneasy about new people and other animals. We strongly recommend that your pet be on a leash, or enclosed in a pet carrier, before entering the waiting room. Your pet and others in the waiting area will appreciate the extra care. If you think your pet has a contagious disease, you should call us first with the details. This procedure allows us to decrease exposure to other animals.
We prefer that you call for an appointment. (Walk-ins are accommodated and will be seen as time allows.) Procedures can sometimes take longer than planned and resulting appointment delays can occur.
