Hello, my name is Dr. Deborah Murtha. I would like to introduce myself to you.
My undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry were completed at Seton Hall University. I received my veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Prior to this location, I spent five years as an associate veterinarian at Hoboken Animal Hospital. I thoroughly enjoy my chosen profession, and feel very fortunate that I am able to help owners keep their pets happy and healthy. My areas of interest include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. In addition to dogs and cats, I also treat small mammals (including ferrets, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs) and birds.
I currently live in Bound Brook with my husband Eric, our beautiful son Eric Jonathan, our adorable daughter Lauren Elizabeth and our two furry children (dogs) Kasey and our newest addition Ziggy Star Dust. In my free time (there is not much left after chasing my kids around) I enjoy travel, miniature golf, mystery novels and watercolor painting.
I look forward to meeting you and your cherished pets. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to gain your trust as your pet's doctor.

Cynthia Fede, DVM

Dr. Cynthia Fede has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 10 years. She graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has been helping people and their pets ever since. Dr. Fede enjoys meeting new clients and their pets and helping to strengthen the special bond they share through education and open communication. Dr. Fede sees dogs,cats, and exotics including rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets and reptiles/ amphibians. She also has a strong interest in animal behavior and assisting shelters and rescues as her time allows Currently she, her husband and son share their home with 4 dogs, 3 cats, and fish.

Marilyn has been a part of the Vet-Tech field since1980.Her love for animals started at a very early age,as animals were always following her home.Leaning towards a career in art or fashion,a sick pet made her change her career path when she discovered a knack for nursing care. Summers working in a local pet shop exposed her to all types of animals,but dogs & cats became her obsession. Making the right connections, a local vet took her under his wing,showing her everything and sponsoring her passion. 29 years later...still happy with her career choice as a licensed Vet-Tech,she's still learning something new everyday! Marilyn has been a part of Amboy Avenue Animal Hospital since 1986. Many pets later...she now has 2 cats,Phil Hartman & Hef.The newest member; a rescue Pit Bull named LaLa.They all came along with boyfriend Erik to live in LA!(Lower Amboy)

Donna Marie

Donna Marie has been a part of our practice since May 2007. She worked here in our animal hospital in the early 90's as a veterinary assistant before leaving to go to work in the medical field. Years later... her love for animals and a phone call from Marilyn (our head LVT) and friend, led her back to start a new career as an Office Manager.
